LEDTwee Unboxing & Review

LEDTwee Unboxing & Review

Are they Hi-Tech Tweezers or Low-Tech chopsticks? Lets find out!

Introducing the LEDTwee, tweezers designed to make working with surface mount LEDs easier.

I backed this Kickstarter in November 2017 for NZD$16 + shipping, and it arrived in the post at the start of Feb 2018.

I've build a few micro-controller boards with 0805 sized LEDs on them, and found it quite hard to get the correct orientation, especially when each of the colours I used came with different polarity markings. I was constantly checking my reference for each LED as I assembled my PCB, which really slowed me down.

These tweezers (if they work) should really help my workflow on future projects!

So let's find out if they are any good!
